Loughborough lies at the heart of the UK motorway system, 1 mile from Junction 23 on the M1 and only 8 miles from East Midlands Airport, giving ready access to most parts of the UK and Europe via daily scheduled flights. An excellent rail service means that London is about one-and-a-half hours away by train.
By road:
From M1 junction 23, follow signs for A512 towards Loughborough, the University will be on your right hand side as you enter Loughborough.
By rail:
Loughborough is 90 minutes from London St Pancras by train. There is a regular service with trains leaving every 30 mins at peak times. The University campus is approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Loughborough train station or you can catch the number 7 Kinch shuttle bus which runs from the station to the campus every 20mins.
By Air:
Loughborough University is just 8 miles from East Midlands Airport. There is a regular bus link to Loughborough Train Station or a 25 minute taxi ride to campus.
Loughborough is 100 minutes from Birmingham International Airport by train or a 60 minute drive.
